Laura Gardiner is the Senior Director of Loyalty Strategy at Epsilon. Epsilon is a global marketing company “powered by data” and a wholly owned subsidiary of Alliance Data (NYSE: ADS). Laura’s professional passion is building loyalty between brands and consumers. Prior to Epsilon, Laura worked in Europe as the Manager of Customer Retention and Loyalty for GE Money Bank in Prague, Czech Republic bringing targeted marketing to Central and Eastern Europe. Laura then moved to Zurich, Switzerland where she worked for ICLP, the agency that managed Lufthansa’s Miles & More loyalty program.
Laura is honored to be asked to serve on the TexProtects Advisory Board. Madeline McClure’s work through TexProtects to prevent child abuse has been a notable and profound mission and one to which Laura had hoped to contribute. In 2014, Laura introduced Epsilon/Alliance Data to TexProtects, knowing that Madeline’s Wall Street experience and understanding of ROI (return-on-investment) based initiatives would be an ideal partner for ADS’s charitable efforts.
In 2014 and 2015 ADS/Epsilon was the lead corporate sponsor for TexProtects' Annual Fundraiser and the two entities continue to partner by bringing awareness to the prevention of child abuse through ADS/Epsilon’s technology and marketing solutions. Starting in 2015, the University of Texas at Dallas, TexProtects and ADS/Epsilon partnered in a project to create an online, interactive website that pinpoints “hotspots” of abuse and neglect down to the ZIP code level, allowing child safety advocates and policy makers to target prevention efforts in the areas of Texas where they are needed most.
Laura has found that nurturing this aspect of corporate responsibility is not only rewarding but an area in which Laura feels she can continue to bring value to TexProtects.
